So, July is
finally over [it took so awfully long] and, even though I don’t have that much
favorites since I’m a creature of habit, I keep buying the same things over and
over again…so, yeah. However, this month has been a very long tiring one, a lot
of things happened, yet, I found myself getting attached to new things that I
want to share with you all.
First of all,
we gonna start with books! Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to read that much, I
had my summer reads prepared once I was off school, but life happened and I
didn’t get much into reading. I have a favorite though, I read the first few
pages of it and I was already in love with the idea of it. Without further ado,
my first favorite of the month of July is:
A Little Life, by Hanya Yanagihara
I didn’t get to
read the entire book, but I’m planning to. It’s been on my tbr list ever since
its release. I heard of how great it is from other people, and their reviews
got me on my toes. The entire idea of the book, which I’ll get to in a moment,
reminds me somehow of The Riot Club, which is by far my favorite movie.
“When four classmates from a small Massachusetts college move to New York
to make their way, they're broke, adrift, and buoyed only by their friendship
and ambition. There is kind, handsome Willem, an aspiring actor; JB, a
quick-witted, sometimes cruel Brooklyn-born painter seeking entry to the art
world; Malcolm, a frustrated architect at a prominent firm; and withdrawn,
brilliant, enigmatic Jude, who serves as their center of gravity. Over the
decades, their relationships deepen and darken, tinged by addiction, success,
and pride. Yet their greatest challenge, each comes to realize, is Jude
himself, by midlife a terrifyingly talented litigator yet an increasingly
broken man, his mind and body scarred by an unspeakable childhood, and haunted
by what he fears is a degree of trauma that he’ll not only be unable to
overcome—but that will define his life forever.”
The entire plotline of this book is
enchanting, I am so in love with books that speak about friendship and life in
general. So, A Little Life is like a present to me—from me, you’ve got to
love yourself—and if you didn’t get around reading it yet, like myself,
then why are you still here? (you can leave after reading this, wait!)
The second favorite is a singer. I don’t
like any type of music, the only genres I listen to are folk, country and
alternative—not too much alternative—and this singer is a magician cause I
don’t know how he do it, where did he come up with these songs and seriously,
what type of music is this?
Jon Bellion
He is INSANE, literally. His music is so
good it never leaves your head. So original, creative, and the lyrics are just
awesome. I knew him from a youtuber called Simply-Kenna and I’m glad I found
him. I didn’t stop listening to him. My
favorite songs of his are; Dead Man Walking, 80’s Films and Ungrateful Eyes.

is an app called 8fit
I have decided
that I’d start a diet—a real one—get fit and all. I went app hunting, or whatever, and I came upon this app. It’s really helpful, it helps you with your
diet, if you get the pro subscription.
How it goes is, 8fit gives you a program
according to your age, height and weight and your endurance to exercises. Also, it depends on
your option on either: losing fat, getting fit or building muscles. It sets a
goal for you, and keeps motivating you on exercising. Besides the motivating
reminders, 8fits sends you emails regarding your diet, advises and health
notes.
What’s really amazing about this app is,
when you follow the exercises it asks you how hard it was, and if it was hard,
it’ll see the points where you failed to follow and make it easier for you to
continue.
That’s all for today’s post, enjoy your
day, and be weird…
Bye!
